What forms and documents are required to reserve a company name online in South Africa
Upon successful submission of your company registration application, you'll receive a confirmation email outlining the next steps, including secure payment instructions. Please reference the unique application number provided in all future communication for efficient processing.
Upon receiving your payment confirmation, we'll promptly submit your preferred company names for reservation. The Cipc will reserve the first available name from your choices. To proceed further, we'll email you a Power of Attorney form requiring signatures from all company directors. The signed forms must be emailed back to us with certified copies of all directors and incorporators ID’s (please note that the certified copies of ID’s must not be older than 2 months).
To ensure the timely completion of your business registration, we require the documents as stipulated in our email. Send them over ASAP to avoid any delays.
How long will the business registration process take
Company registration processing times vary depending on the current workload at the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC). While applications are generally processed on a first-come, first-served basis, specific timelines can fluctuate.

Can a foreigner be a director
Yes, any foreigner can be a director of a company in South Africa. Upon successful submission of your business name reservation requests, we will promptly email you the necessary documentation outlining the requirements for foreign directors. We will email you the specific format for the affidavit to ensure all necessary information is included. You will need to sign and have an affidavit stamped at any police station within South Africa. It is also mandatory for your business to have a registered address located within South Africa.
Are there any other costs involved

Imports and exports are goods arriving in and leaving the country. Before any goods can be imported or exported to another country, a number of things need to be in place.
